bloggie postie #4 restinpieces remixie manifesto

this documentary we watched is a one sided documentary talking out agenst copy writing
the documentary also seams to apear as just an essay, he makes a thesis and proves it with meny differnt points.

where is the line drawn between "my creation" and remixing some one elses creation?
truely i dont know, i guess some one can say "hey, only i thought of takeing said 4 songs and mixing them togeather in said way, where as some one else could have mixed these songs in meny differnt ways to make it there own song, but as for the line. generation of the past, did what we do now and call it there own, why cant we do what they did? it feels unfair and constricting and nowhere near right. but what is right?
Right now seams to be who ever has the most money, they make the rules because they can buy the floor, no money. no say in what happens.

i bleave that every thing had to have started from something. truely from way back when yes, but that was then, THIS is now, and for now, nothing is new, everything is redone and its redone in meny differnt ways that some of us like and some of us dont, and if it makes us happy, then it should be alowed to be done, but sadly those who are now losing money, dont see it as this way, they see it as theft and not something to be flattered about. so yes i agree with the statement "nobody creates in a vacuum, everything comes from something else"

with facebook and youtube and myspace and blog spots, music shall be found faster and made bigger like justin beb. internet makes everything bigger...faster.

i dont understand copyright laws and there penalties..they've confused me and seam to make no sence. and truely i dont think these rules were for the average citizen SHARING a few songs, it just doesn't feel right that we are to be so constricted by this...confusing and nonsenceable law. and for a fair law on downloader and owner should be the owner should get a set% from the internet bill company, and the downloader should pay more for there internet, that way all is happy and downloading is technicly free because you wont have to pay directly for the song, and now truely all files once on the internet are fair game, for the internet is a massive social connection where every one shall shair everything with everyone else because they can and they feel that they have a right to shair what they want to shair.

the argument was truely bais, mainly because you dont get to hear from the "onwers" you only get to hear from the people who remix, the people who are getting punished some times its allright to have some bias, but not to much but to prove a point and to show from his point of view.
there wasn't very much interview from anyone from the other side of the argument..

the thoughts i hold on the film seam to sway towards the film being well done, mainly because the argument raised is a very good argument even though it doesn't have a counter argument to it.

i did enjoy watching the movie because of the music and the argument presented into the argument.
